Study 20 was a student devised collaboration project, I did with two other Scenographers where we used Dance of the Furies composed by Gluck as our stimulus.

 

We worked with three different materials; wood, clay and cling film to explore the relationship of these materials with body and space. Throughout the film the themes that kept cropping up were intimacy with bodies, subconsciousness and bilingual language monologues and repetition in patterns. All these themes explored the use of shapes, textures and sounds these materials can create when devising.
